We’re seeking a competitive intelligence team member who has a demonstrated ability to track news and market data and develop real-time briefings that guide clients in decision making. You’re the ideal candidate if you can identify implications of non-traditional events in the marketplace and develop effective and succinct updates. You’ll conduct research and real-time monitoring of competitors' developments, proactive announcements, financial conferences, earnings releases, crises, write and distribute notable takeaways and insights to leadership.
You’ll need to be adept at Google Research and Smartsheets; advanced analytical/modeling work is preferred. The ideal candidate is a proficient writer, organized, and highly detail oriented and has strong project management skills and enjoys a client service role. You will contribute to account, leadership and collaborate directly with the client. Staying adaptable and agile is key, as priorities will shift. Wireless network or tech industry experience is highly desired.
Primary Responsibilities
- Write social media content in real-time. Engage in social media on news, products and services and share relevant information/content/links. Identify, flag and engage on trending topics.
- Contribute to development of materials, messaging, and creation of social media assets.
- Conduct standardized reporting and analysis real-time and as needed during times of crisis and high-volume activity.
- Provide timely updates to account leadership, and the client, ensuring goals and objectives are met.
- Support onboarding/training efforts and developing agency processes, as needed.
- Conduct administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Operational Leadership
- Track/enter time with precision on a day-to-day basis.
- Effectively maintain a monthly expense report and reconciliation.
- Interact professionally with client executives, possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral, writing and editing skills including the ability to write polished content, without errors.
- Demonstrate creative and tactical thinking and effectively express concepts to senior team members.
- Ability to effectively develop client reports in timely manner.
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in developing expertise in social media; proactively shares industry insights.
- Keeps up with social media trends and pop culture and knows how to incorporate into brand content.
- Detail-oriented and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a quick learner.
- Resourceful and proactive in finding solutions and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Prompt and reliable; has attention to detail and accuracy ensuring error-free work.
- Technically astute and competent in using social media, management tools and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work remote, flexible schedule (some night, weekend and holidays). Holidays are recognized with paid time off. May require travel.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field; prior internship experience.
