Remote Position - Travel RequiredProspect, quote, sell, place new business, cross-selling additional products and services including referrals to other lines of business, as appropriate. Maintain positive relationship with all key stakeholders assuring Client retention and satisfaction. Must maintain a book size commensurate for the primary line of business the Senior Producer sells for a minimum of two out of every three years.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Production:
a. Prospect new Clients.
b. Quote and sell new business.
c. Create compelling marketing proposals and takes a lead position in managing and providing content for Requests for Proposals. (RFP)
d. Cross-sell additional products and services.
e. Educate McGriff Teammates on Flex and other MEBS services.
2. Marketing:
a. Develop market plan.
b. Responsible for developing Flexible Benefit Services' marketing materials, news advisories, website materials, white papers.
c. Responsible for developing a strategic plan to integrate Flexible Benefit Services' product and service offerings into joint offering with McGriff Insurance Services.
d. Gain exposure through presentations to internal and external groups; represents McGriff in civic, community, government, banking, and professional groups.
3. Customer Service:
a. Deliver timely advice, and professional counsel.
b. Directly engage in disturbance handling, coordinating with other McGriff Teammates to ensure Client retention.
c. Assist in Open Enrollment needs of Clients.
4. Corporate Citizenship:
a. Promote and maintain good Client, company, and fellow employee relations.
b. Promote the company image through civic, social, and business activities, and endeavors.
5. Product Knowledge:
a. Build and maintain internal and external knowledge of product and service offerings.
b. Stay abreast of industry trends, legal issues, regulations, trends, and developments in the health insurance services industry.
c. Pursue continuing education.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in applicable business field or equivalent education and related training
2. Appropriate insurance licenses
3. Three years of insurance industry experience
4. Self-motivated, winning attitude, articulate, creative thinker, with good communication skills
5. Act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters
6. Maintain an enthusiastic positive attitude at all times
7. Demonstrated proficiency of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products and Adobe
8. Ability to travel, occasionally, overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced degree
2. Experienced with Requests for Proposal
3. Certifications in field of endeavor
