**This position can be remote for the right candidate.**Support daily business operations for the Truist’s innovation start-up division within the Experience Innovation Technology team. This position will report to the Head of Operations. This person will be responsible for establishing processes to drive operational effectiveness for key initiatives and day to day business operations. Applies expert-level knowledge of the project management discipline to plan, monitor and manage the projects of large scope and high complexity from initiation through completion. This person should be recognized as an expert in their area within the organization with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems. Interpret issues and recommends solutions and best practices to improve existing processes, methodologies and work flows that will enable the team/department to work more efficiently and to stay within project timeline, budget, and scope. May include stakeholder management across many functional areas and/or multiple, interrelated projects (include business transformation projects). This role will support the launch of innovation product development through support of a variety of functions.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1) Direct special projects for Head of Operations at the Foundry; assist across the Operations and Risk function as needed.
2) Manage third party relationships by monitoring contracts, vendor expenses, identifying and mitigating risks.
3) Assist team in vendor requests for proposal, onboarding, service manager, and other key vendor contracting activities with third party suppliers.
4) Lead activities and establish processes/procedures that drive operational effectiveness and efficiency for the team.
5) Establish procedures and process maps to support Foundry teammates to successful product launches.
6) Lead formalized projects / manages issue remediation to ensure progress on critical gap resolution; partners with Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal to prioritize actions based on established criteria.
7) Create, publish and communicate processes and procedures, and drive other critical risk mitigation activities.
8) Reports on the status of projects including key performance indicators (KPIs), cost, timing, and staffing; setting goals, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines for producing work product.
9) Establishes and maintains relationships with all stakeholders and manages resources throughout the entire project.
10) Troubleshoots and manages activities to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards. Performs risk management to minimize project risks. Identifies/resolves obstacles to completing project on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or equivalent education and related training
2. Five to seven years of experience developing processes and workflows across multidisciplinary digital product design teams
3. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
4. Problem solving skills; ability to manage both short term and long term priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Five years of experience developing processes and workflows across multidisciplinary digital product design teams
2. Master’s degree
3. Experience in Financial Services Industry
4. Self-starter, able to take initiative and has excellent communication.
