Execute on the strategies, policies and guidelines for Small Business Lending delivered through the Retail Community Bank. This is accomplished through rendering credit decisions on Small Business loans and partnering with the Credit Support team to provide coaching and leadership to Small Business lenders within assigned regions.1. Role - Render Small Business lending credit decisions within assigned lending authority through analyzing financial information and credit reports based upon the risk appetite of the Bank to ensure quality, profitability and growth. Recommend process improvements or revisions to policy, guidelines or products. Provide thorough and professional feedback on credit questions with the goal of improving lender knowledge. Read and analyze credit reports and financial statements to determine client's/prospect's ability to repay in support of the credit decision to originate, maintain, or adjust the account. Monitor peer and industry developments as they relate to credit in general, revolving credit, credit scoring, small business lending, commercial credit, compliance, administration and technology. Manage inboxes and lending queues and provide timely responses to Retail Community Bank partners in order to maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 2. Credit Quality - Perform analytical analysis of Small Business loan applications to assess creditworthiness and ability to repay in order to assist in managing credit risk within established policy guidelines. Ensure appropriate information is in the underwriting package to conduct a thorough credit analysis. Use credit skills and underwriting experience to examine loan applications and provide credit decisions within the Bank's risk appetite in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:

2. 4 years business lending or credit experience
3. 6 years financial services industry experience
4. Strong credit and analytical skills
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
6. Knowledge of bank policies/procedures and compliance/regulatory issues
1. Master's degree in a Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
2. 6 years business lending or credit experience
3. 8 years financial services industry experience
4. Graduate of a bank's Leadership Development Program
