Our client is a growing company in Waukesha area seeking a permanent Accounting Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of accounts payable, receivable and payroll experience. The position is full-time and in the office Monday through Friday. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy of payments.
- Generate and send customer invoices promptly.
- Record and apply customer payments accurately.
- Monitor and follow-up on overdue accounts.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and wages.
- Calculate and process deductions, taxes, and other withholdings.
- Support month-end activities including account reconciliations.
- Other ad hoc accounting projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- At least 3 years of proven experience in accounts payable, receivables, and payroll functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite specifically Excel.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting a plus. HS Diploma required.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
