Our client is a manufacturing company in the Waukesha County area looking for a Financial Analyst. This company is looking for someone with 2 years of experience and is a critical thinker. The salary for this position is: $85k.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, prepare, and maintain financial reporting.
- Analyze historical and financial data and develop financial models to support management’s financial decision making.
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
- Provide outside auditors with assistance required to complete annual audit and corporate tax returns.
- Maintain the General Ledger, including posting journal entries and completion of month end closing activities.
- Participate in the development of company and departmental budgets.
- Perform general cost accounting including calculation of labor and burden rates and completion of annual standard cost update.
- Perform cross-functional ad hoc duties and projects as requested.
The Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 2 years of accounting and FP&A experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and overall attention to detail.
- Manufacturing required.
- Comfortable and confident building FP&A from scratch.
