Commercial Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Job Description:

Ideal candidates in this role are able to direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site. In addition to ensuring quality standards and working alongside crew members, they are also responsible for:

• Driving company vehicle and managing check-ins at service locations
• Ensuring assigned truck is stocked daily with necessary jobs supplies, kept clean, and reporting any maintenance needs of assigned truck or equipment.
• Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to 2-4 crew members.
• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
• Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing minor training as needed
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
• Regularly reporting project status, quality concerns, or other pertinent information to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Some experience required. Please ensure experience is reflected in attached resume.
• Must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have good verbal and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from starting location, in Princeton, TX.
• Must be able to verbally communicate in English; Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Punctuality, attention to detail, and professionalism are required.

All shifts are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with potential overtime before or after hours and rare Saturdays. We are a fast-growing, family owned and operated landscape company. This position is perfect for someone looking to get in on the ground floor and grow with us.

We pay for rain closures; and provide paid holiday leave for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years. Bottled Water, Ice and Coolers provided for all crews.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions, especially high temperatures in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 80 pounds (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
• Safely and properly handle materials and machinery related to the industry.
• Lift, pull, squeeze, grip, push and/or carry various landscaping materials and equipment.
• Safely operate hand and power equipment and tools
• Walk, bend and/or kneel up to 10 hours per day, sometimes on uphill or uneven terrain, often while carrying materials or operating machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Experience:
