Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Composite Assembler to join our team. As a Composite Assembler, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to composite manufacturing including fabricating and assembling composite materials using various hand tools and machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, Cut, shape, and trim composite materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Arrange layers of composite fiber in a sequence layup using a matrix of resin and hardener
- Assemble composite parts according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Bond composite materials as required.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Package finished products according to specifications.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications.
- Operate machines to cut, bend or shape composite parts.
- Rotate through required tasks in the production process.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in composite manufacturing or related field preferred
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
