Manville provides services for up to 115 students from over 50 school districts in the greater Boston area, and has approximately 100 educational, clinical, and behavioral staff members. SUMMARY: A BCBA at Manville serves as a member of the school community supporting and facilitating the behavioral growth and development of students at school and at home. Primary responsibilities pertain to behavioral assessment, the development of behavior support plans and interventions, and management of in-school behavior by providing consultation, coaching, and training to Manville staff and caregivers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Develop appropriate school-based behavioral interventions and behavior support plans for students as needed or requested Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments and functional analyses as needed Provide training and coaching for staff implementing behavioral interventions Provide interdisciplinary behavioral consultation to student teams regarding IEP goals and objectives by collecting and analyzing behavioral data Apply knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes Develop behavioral goals and objectives for IEPs and facilitate the delivery of services as defined in the service delivery grid Foster professional growth of Manville staff by providing training and coaching on evidence-based practices Actively participate in weekly classroom meetings, annual case conferences, IEP meetings, and staff trainings Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary Attend a select number of conferences and professional learning opportunities to develop knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the field of behavior analysis QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Education: Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field Experience: 1 years working with children Training: Current licensure as Board Certified Behavior Analyst Skills: Familiarity with positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) preferred Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary teams Demonstration of a strong, consistent track record as a professional able to support a variety of initiatives simultaneously Exemplary communication, organizational, interpersonal skills contributing to mastery as an independent self-starter Fluency in cultural proficiency, inclusivity, and the promotion of diversity WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
