Summary Of Position
A member of the Maintenance Team, the Painter reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance and is responsible for assisting in the operation of the Paint Department.

- Responsible for the knowledge and ability to paint and finish various surfaces with a brush, roller or sprayer
- Responsible for matching stains and paint
- Responsible for organizing and layout of work for self
- Assist in other departments as required
- Responsible for working flexible work hours, as required
- Responsible for being available for emergency calls 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
- Interact with co-workers, administration, students, parents and the community in positive, supportive and cooperative ways
- Light wall repair and patching required
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to layout and apply parking lot striping and traffic control signage
- Knowledge, skill, and ability to remove graffiti from various surfaces and materials
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge and a minimum of five (5) years professional experience in the painting field is required
- Ability to layout and plan work with minimal supervision
- Must have valid drivers license, good driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to layout and apply parking lot striping and traffic control sinage.
- Knowledge, skill, and ability to remove graffiti from various surfaces and materials
- Must pass a pre-employment physical
- Demonstrated good in person attendance and punctuality
- Deomonstrated ability to participate as a member of team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment
