Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students while providing an educational and nurturing environment in a classroom setting, supporting the catholic mission of Sacred Hearts School. Responsibilities: •Maintain a safe and well maintained classroom •Provide supervision and discipline •Plan and instruct curriculum set by Principal/Director •Observe and communicate student concerns with parents, Director •Evaluate and record students' progress •Keep daily attendance records •Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of students in the program. •Participate/attend in-service days, school events, open houses and other events determined by Principal/Director •Maintain confidentiality •Supervise and instruct and provide work direction to Teacher Aide in classroom •Work closely with ECC staff
