The Role: Birchland Park Middle School is seeking a full-time, school year School Psychologist. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to conducting psychological, academic, and transition assessments; providing direct services to students and families, collaboration with staff and administration, supporting students in out-of-district placements, and oversight of the IEP process, including IEP development. The person hired for this position must possess a demonstrated knowledge of the entire IEP document process. Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including staff, administration, colleagues, outside agencies, students and parents/guardians are expected of the person in this position. Only those candidates possessing Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure for School Psychologist will be considered.
