Job Title: Testing Clerk II
Wage/Hour Status: Nonexempt
Pay Group: P10 Salary Plan
Primary Purpose: To provide support for the intake and testing programs throughout the district.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma from an accredited high school, GED.
Experience:
Two years full-time wage earning experience in general clerical, secretarial or educational duties.
Associate's degree preferred.
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
Ability to proofread with accuracy is preferred.
Skill in organizing and maintaining accurate records.
Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1.Administer and/or assist in the administering and scoring of group tests according to policy.
2.Conduct group orientation for incarcerated students on educational programs and services of Windham School District to include language and education documentation.
3.Establish and maintain security of all testing materials, test booklets, information and records.
4.Organize and plan testing sessions to include lay-ins, room schedules, and materials.
5.Examine all testing information for accuracy and correctness and maintain test booklets in appropriate condition without marks and/or torn pages.
6.Communicate with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), universities, and school districts to gather educational records of incarcerated students and ensure the accuracy of information received as directed.
Policy, Reports, and Law:
7. Compile, imput, disseminate and maintain educational data including grade claims, testing data, participation and achievement.
8. Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information received in the performance of the job duties.
9. Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at location of work assignment.
10. Follow Windham School District policies and procedures in completing assigned job duties.
11. Execute duties in a professional, ethical and responsible manner as defined in 19 TAC Chapter 247, Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Educators.
