World Geography

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject level assigned
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage thier behavior
• Strong organizational, communication and interperosonal skills
• At least ONE year of experience of student teaching or approved internship

• Provide students with appropriate learning activities and expereinces in teh core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill thier potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth
• Enable students to develop competencies and skills to funciton successfully in society
