Summary
This individual is on the front line, ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to requests for onsite service at customer locations in their assigned territory.
This position requires daily travel throughout the assigned service territory and includes benefits like a company supplied vehicle (for work use only), essential tools, and per diem if overnight travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring customer needs are met for any Point of Sale hardware. Examples include: computers, servers, printers, scales and wrappers, network equipment, wireless devices, self-checkout, etc.
- Responding to issues that are reported with the appropriate troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and thorough testing of equipment.
- Keep customers updated, ensuring service calls are documented accurately with comprehensive details, as well as ensure any materials used are appropriately accounted for.
- Willing to travel when needed (limited overnight travel) and maintain ability to work regular hours, as well as after-hours availability when needed.
- Willing to learn, adapt and expand personal knowledge in the ever-changing world of Point of Sale technology.
