Description
TruStile Doors, the leading manufacturer of made-to-order doors for the high end residential and commercial segments, is seeking an Inventory Specialist. The position is based in Denver, Colorado and reports to the Supply Chain Manager. The individual selected for the position will have responsibility for conducting regular inventory counts, improving inventory accuracy through accurate and timely system transactions, providing production with required materials, and performing warehouse and transaction audits. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency, and a high degree of organization, and ability or willingness to learn to drive a forklift.
- Maintain/conduct inventory cycle count program.
- Act as liaison between the production and warehouse teams. Perform inventory transactions for material moving from storage to the production floor.
- Process inventory rotation by utilizing FIFO inventory methods.
- Assist warehouse personnel with filling raw material pick lists.
- Perform receipt and transaction audits.
- Assist as needed in all facets of the warehouse/lamination department.
- Proactively communicate material shortages/low inventory situations.
Requirements
- Ability (or willingness to learn how) to drive a forklift
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to work well in ambiguous situations.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook – ability to analyze and extract information.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
