WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service that promotes a positive financial well-being. Responsible for meeting established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members. Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and fosters branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests. Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm; non-exempt.
In addition:
- High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date).
- One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
- One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
- Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills.
- Good decision-making skills and judgement.
- Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population.
- A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
- Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
