Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Work with the Site Leader and Leadership Team to implement continuous improvement processes and behaviors to and build a high-performance, team-based culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Site Leader to develop strategic master plan based on loss analysis and business needs
- Lead deployment planning and execution of CI/TPM processes of the Truvant Excellence System (TES)
- Support daily, weekly, monthly loss elimination through use of CI/TPM methodologies
- Utilize and continually develop self and other’s Continuous Improvement/TPM knowledge to serve as Subject Matter Expert at the facility
- Work with Training Department to build capability at all levels to prepare organization to implement new and evolved ways of working
- Serve as primary coach on standards adherence and behaviors required by CI/TPM processes
- Encourage and promote the culture of cooperation and teamwork across the plant
- Enforce all company policies, guidelines, and programs fairly and equitably
- Contribute to the annual company goals set forth for each review year. Personal contributions and personal goals must be coordinated to align with the company overall goals.
- Continuously analyze daily performance, staffing and downtime to maximize response time to production changes, utilize personnel effectively and to reduce loss to the company.

Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- 8-15 years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience, including management of people
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- 3-5 years experience in TPM/Continuous Improvement Leadership role

- Knowledge of CI/TPM tools in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to positively influence up, down and across in a team environment across varying skills and backgrounds
- Can effectively communicate through multiple formats to various audiences
- Ability to flex between strategic mindset and tactical details
- Have natural curiosity and growth mindset to continually develop and strengthen skills
- Ability to coach others for growth

- Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
- Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
- Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
- Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
- Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
- Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- 0-25% - Travel may be required to support business needs and training
