Our headquarters are in the greater Seattle area but we celebrate and embrace a remote culture. In person attendance is required for two weeks of the year during Truveta planning weeks.

This Opportunity

We are seeking full-stack software engineers who 

  • Have proven experience building reliable, secure and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms  
  • Is a quick learner who knows how to iterate and evolve a distributed software solution while carefully balancing the needs of privacy, security and reliability against a changing product landscape 
  • Has knowledge and experience in using and designing distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs and consumption experiences 
  • Can guide workstreams, mentor and inspire junior developers and cultivate a positive work environment 
  • Strict adherence to Truveta principles in support of ethical innovation 
  • Willingness to commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, ethics, and security   

Responsibilities: 

  • Leverage software engineering skills to develop reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions across different teams in Truveta  
  • Show creativity and eagerness to build integration POCs across the Truveta and partner ecosystems.  
  • Collaborate closely with partner teams inside and outside of Truveta 
  • Keep customers first in a DevOps model
  • Learn quickly and iterate rapidly in an evolving product landscape
  • Strictly uphold the privacy and security of patient data obtained from our healthcare partners
  • Drive entire features, mentor junior developers, and cultivate a positive work environment
  • Undergo regular training on key topics such as privacy, ethics, and security 

Key Qualifications: 

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field   
  • 3 years of experience building production quality software in a team setting  
  • 2 years of experience working on modern cloud-native platforms and languages (Azure, AWS, GCP)  
  • Healthcare background/research background is a strong plus
  • Experience in designing distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs
  • Proven experience building secure, and scalable software using modern cloud-based paradigms
  • Experience in C#, Java, python, or a similar high-level language
  • Knowledge of language and interpreter design and implementation is a plus
  • Experience with Lexers, Parsers and Abstract Syntax Trees
  • Experience with Big Data platforms such as Data Bricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop etc.
  • Experience building scalable services and integrating with microservices
  • Familiarity with designing for SaaS ecosystem
  • Experience with knowledge graph is a plus
  • Prior work with Azure Data Factory, Function App, Kubernetes is a plus

  • The base pay for this position is $90,000 to $173,500. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
