Position Summary: Support departments efforts that relate to quality improvement. Coordinate and execute plans to obtain and/or maintain certification for IATF 16949 and ISO-9001 and to current automotive international applicable standard. Responsible for helping achieve customer / supplier quality expectations, production requirements, scrap and re-work requirements. Provide guidance to managers to interpret, implement and communicate policies and procedures.
Qualifications: (knowledge, skills and abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3 years quality control automotive manufacturing experience required
- Quality Management System (QMS) and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 experience
- Implement and maintain all quality system requirements, including APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving efforts
- Validate supplier product quality through quality control plans, inspection criteria, and sampling procedures.
- Develop and implement quality system improvements to comply with business plan goals
- Responsible for quality system internal and external audits.
- Verification of countermeasure effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, Flow Charts and Process Capability Studies.

- Ability to communicate with all levels of Associates and outside contacts
- Ability to work independently from general supervision
- Excellent organization skills with ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames
- Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering specifications and drawings
- Proficient knowledge of manufacturing process
