What are the responsibilities and job description for the TSAM Assistant Chief Administrator - Accounting position at TS Tech?
Completes consolidated financial reporting to parent company. Analyzes subsidiary plant financial statements, investigates variances, documents issues, countermeasures when necessary and provides explanation.
Interacts externally with CPA firms, consultants, governmental auditors, etc. Internally the position is instrumental in communicating financial results, policy changes and business plan objectives to personnel at corporate and various plant locations.
Coordinates activities to ensure accurate chargeback of research and development charges from overseas parent to regional subsidiaries.
Calculates allocation of corporate expenses for push down to subsidiary plants.
Responsible for Department of Commerce reporting.
Works with internal and external auditors on policy development and adoption of new standards.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar field.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in accounting related area.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Masters (MBA) preferred
- Prior ERP or other automated business system experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred)
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines while concurrently managing multiple tasks/projects.
- Strong leadership skills.
Salary : $74,600 - $94,500
