What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Analyst position at TSG Enterprises?
The Solis Group (TSG) is currently seeking a Labor Compliance Analyst for an immediate opening in our Pasadena office. This position plays an important role in securing fair pay for workers doing publicly funded construction. No previous experience is necessary – we are simply looking for a motivated individual excited about developing their skills, who can see themselves growing with our company, and has a genuine interest in the construction industry.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Track document submittals from various clients and projects
- Data entry (you must be good with attention to detail)
- Audit and review payroll documents
- Monitor project workforce goals
- Interact with contractors regarding their compliance
- Write weekly/monthly summaries of project status
- Attend trainings on contract language and construction regulations
- Perform onsite visits to construction sites to interview workers (you will get dirty)
- You will assist in ensuring project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality within a compliance environment.
Required Skills and Background:
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce quality reports for both internal and external purposes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) at least 1 year required; knowledge of relevant industry software (LCP Tracker, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent math, analytical, and research skills
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize multiple activities and work with limited supervision
- A valid driver’s license and daily access to a car
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements:
Individuals may need to reach above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift up to 25 pounds as required to file documents or store materials and/or office supplies. Proper lifting techniques required.
During the course of your employment, you may be asked to complete and/or renew safety training or certifications onsite or with outside vendors or professionals, including (but not limited to) CPR, disaster planning, active shooter, and first aid.
