While reporting to and collaborating with the District Business Manager regarding day-to-day sales and strategy direction, you will provide critical support promoting the products in the assigned territory for Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. The NSS will be responsible to engage with targeted customers and effectively communicate the value proposition for the products’ approved indications while maintaining within full compliance to all laws, regulations, and policies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Provide clinical knowledge, business acumen, and therapeutic product expertise to customers in support of Biohaven products
- Effectively promote and educate Physicians on the use of Biohaven products through one-on-one meetings and group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved programs
- Ensure high performance levels of call and field productivity. Meet call plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals; accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports within deadline as defined by Biohaven policy in full compliance to all laws, regulations, and policies
- Support targeted customers using company-approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs/initiatives as identified by sales management
- Develop a strong understanding of the local market to effectively develop and execute business plan to support customers
Job Requirements
Coupled with a strong business acumen and a highly motivated drive to succeed, the ideal candidate has:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of selling experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Current relationships in the territory
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, collaboration, accountability, tenacity, and communication skills
- Shares innovative solutions to maximize business opportunities to address challenges
- Demonstrates a culture of teamwork and belonging
- Documented track record of success
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and the ability to successfully obtain credentialing as required by customers
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to the first date of employment. As required by applicable law, Biohaven will consider requests for Reasonable Accommodations
Preferred
- Specialty sales experience
- Clinical selling experience in Neuroscience
- Consultative selling experience
