Job Responsibilities:
- Construct decks according to provided designs and drawings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Install decking, railings, stairs, and other components
- Inspect and repair existing decks for safety and structural integrity
- Follow all local building codes and regulations
- Work with other tradesmen to ensure proper installation
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of decks
- Assist with the design and selection of deck materials and accessories
- Provide customer service and advice to clients
- Keep work area neat and organized
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in deck building
- Proven track record of successful and safe deck construction
- Knowledge of all applicable building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to design and construct decks using a variety of materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow complex instructions
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to work well with others and lead a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to work long hours and travel as needed

Pay: $83,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
