Description:
As our Project Engineer, you will work directly under our Project Managers with several aspects of our numerous projects. We are looking for a long-term candidate who values the opportunity for future advancement that our company offers. This is a great entry level position for someone recently out of college and/or with some field experience.
Your Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist project managers with draw requests, change orders, lien waivers and submittals.
- Communication with other general contractors and their teams.
- Issue purchase orders and order/schedule project material deliveries.
- Electronically file, organize and maintain project folders.
- Update and maintain TN One Call tickets.
- Produce subcontractor agreements, scheduling and payments.
- Assist with vendor invoice approvals.
- Various other duties as assigned by project managers.
- Cooperate and communicate with others in a team environment.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction environment a must.
- Minimum 2 years of college, preferably in construction or business admin.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Drive, Google Sheets & Docs.
- Easily learn other software applications.
- Ability to read plans a plus.
- A team player who works well with others or independently.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and creativity required.
- Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Positive attitude.

TTE operates in a 65-mile radius from Nashville, Tennessee. By applying for this position, you acknowledge our operation radius and understand your commute could reach up to one (1) hour. Teammates are asked to move job sites as project needs change and occasionally report to the TTE Office for training. All applicants to whom a conditional offer of employment is made shall undergo and pass a pre-employment screening including drug test, background check, and a fit for duty exam prior to beginning work.
