Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Analyst to join our team. As a Power BI Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective Power BI dashboards, utilizing your strong skills in Power BI and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for data visualization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design Power BI dashboards that effectively communicate key insights and metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for dashboard development.
- Analyze and manipulate data using SQL to extract relevant information for reporting purposes.
- Optimize data models and queries to ensure efficient and accurate data retrieval.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for business decision-making.
- Provide technical and analytical support to internal teams in utilizing Power BI and interpreting data visualizations.
- Enhance data quality and integrity through data cleansing and validation techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Power BI and data visualization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing Power BI dashboards and utilizing SQL.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including creating complex visualizations, measures, and calculated columns.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements, designing dashboards, and translating business needs into actionable visualizations.
- Bonus experience with budget data and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics concepts.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience presenting findings and insights to leadership, including creating compelling PowerPoint presentations.
