Job Description:
Coordinates, develops and maintains web sites that provide valuable information and tools and serve internal and external customers. Ensures a quality presentation of writen and graphical web content, a positive web visitor experience and a competitive web presence in the marketplace. DUTIES: Coordinates the technical creation of innovative written, visual and audio content for internet pages so that the web site is appealing, informative and satisfying to the visitor and is competitive in the marketplace. Manages and publishes web content by interacting with marketing groups, legal, other divisions and the enterprise to maintain current and relevant product and service information. Analyzes existing data and content (print, electronic, survey data, etc.) to ensure that when used on the web, the content conveys a consistent tone and credible message to the online audience. Provides guidance and supports business partners and external vendors in the creation of web technologies and content to ensure that the John Deere and industry web standards are met in delivering a functional and dynamic site. Communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure the needs and goals of web projects are met.

  • Loads and publishes marketing content submitted by internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and maintains web sites that provide valuable information and tools that serve internal and external customers.
  • Ensures a quality presentation of written and graphical web content and a positive user experience.

Duties:

  • Manages and publishes web content, using OpenText TeamSite, to maintain current and relevant product and service information.
  • Monitor quality, authoring and brand standards, and guidelines on the company's web sites. Escalate issues as appropriate and facilitate resolution of problems.
  • Support of project/ticket requests from multiple units and divisions.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure the needs and goals of web projects are met.
  • Ability to support global business partners, including ability attend meetings as scheduled.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains sensitive and confidential company information, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Required skills:
* Experience with content management system tools, such as Adobe, TeamSite, or WordPress – **MUST HAVE**

  • Proficient in Microsoft™ Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Planner, OneNote)
  • Experience creating and implementing training on digital tools and processes
  • Ability to handle and track multiple projects and/or tasks

Stand out skills:

  • Strong communication skills including writing, grammatical usage, persuasive copy, and style
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working and communicating within a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience with Siteimprove, Acrolinx, or similar website optimization tools
  • A digital publishing background is helpful

-Brand management/marketing experience is helpful as well

  • Experience with Agile Kanban Methodology

Additional Notes:
- There are no degree requirements for these positions
- Recent college graduates will be considered
- The manager is willing to accept fully remote candidates, but would prefer local candidates who can work a hybrid schedule in the office

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
