In addition to car accidents and slip and falls, Tucker Law helps clients for all sorts of other injuries as a result of other person’s negligence. The firm continues to grow in all areas and are in particular need of personal injury staffing.
Job Summary
The Intake Specialist/Pre-suit Assistant is responsible for the intake and sign-up process of new clients over the phone. This position requires phone skills, compassion, and the ability to get to the heart of the potential client’s issue. As a first point of contact, it is important that you be comfortable talking on the phone with the public.
Additionally, your role will include opening the claims with insurance companies and sending initial paperwork, as well as requesting medical records.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
· Handle and follow-up with all new leads;
· Process intakes with new potential clients;
· Assist clients with initial questions to facilitate the hiring process;
· Follow-up on intake process from potential client to signed client; and
· Communicate with Attorney and other Staff on new leads;
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties
· Process new signed clients and open claims;
· Help coordinate repair of vehicle damage;
· Assist with rental car coverage;
· Help with various office issues and be a team player; and
· Obtaining medical records, police reports, and video footage.
Qualifications and Skills
· Be able to handle busy practice;
· Boisterous and emphatic phone skills;
· Strong communication with attorney and team;
· Ability to work independently;
· Above average computer skills; and
· Bilingual a plus (but not required)

Applicants will be required to deal with personal injury pre-litigation. Applicant's must also draft letters and legal documents, request/review medical records, have client contact, calendar appointments, and follow detailed instructions on a case by case basis. Candidate must be reliable, efficient, attentive to deadlines and proper calendaring, detail oriented, and a team player. Candidate must have strong computer skills, particularly including Windows and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge of Clio and Docusign is also a plus but not required.
