The Tucson Medical Center New Graduate Nursing Residency Program is a one-year long program which includes: hospital orientation, skills labs, forums, interdisciplinary experiences, unit orientation with a preceptor, and monthly educational forums. We realize transition can be stressful and a little scary. This program has been designed to minimize these stresses. We are committed to your progression and look forward to the opportunity to make your transition into the profession of nursing successful.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE: None required. No more than nine months of paid RN work experience.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona must be obtained by start date and Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
