Summary
Reporting to the Director for Multicultural Affairs, the Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of the Community Engagement Advocates (CEA) undergraduate, graduate, and professional student cohort across the Tulane campus community. Duties include recruitment, ongoing training, student coaching, and evaluation. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating special CEA workshop requests for large groups of participants.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Demonstrated commitment to successfully supporting diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office balancing multiple initiatives simultaneously required.
- Knowledge and/or experience in facilitation and training techniques.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 2 years of experience in student leadership development in higher education and/or community engagement.
- Demonstrated experience providing training on social justice or intergroup dialogue.
- Extensive knowledge of various theories and practices connected to social justice education, inclusive excellence, and core competencies related to equity.
- Master's Degree in Student Personnel, College Student Development, Higher Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with college/university students at various levels of their development.
- Proven experience creating, implementing, and assessing programs and/or services for underrepresented students with results of positive impact on the student experience, retention, and sense of belonging.
- Knowledge and/or experience with service-learning pedagogy preferred.
- Supervisory experience.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours required.
- Qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and Intercultural Conflict Styles (ICS) assessment.
- Conflict resolution experience.
Salary : $49,500 - $62,600
