Primary Responsibilities : As a Human Resources Coordinator at Turfscape, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and ensuring the success of our HR operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Onboarding : Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, facilitating paperwork completion, and coordinating training programs to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- HR Systems : Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of employee records.
Utilize HR systems to generate reports, track employee data, and streamline HR processes.
- HR Metrics : Compile and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Prepare reports on key HR metrics such as turnover rates, time-to-fill, and employee satisfaction to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance : Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to promote a fair and inclusive work environment.
Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and recognition programs.
Administrative Support : Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining personnel files, processing employee changes, and assisting with HR-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
