Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our team to drive the vision for the robotics product. You will be responsible for holding the highest bar for our product and technology roadmap, planning and execution globally for both the US and the Asian market.
While our autonomous robots are certainly next-gen tech, the value is all in the data output of its sensor payload that triggers processes and drives decisions for different use cases across industries as varied as groceries, malls or high tech. You possess a unique blend of business, and technical skills as well as an intrinsic passion to apply cutting edge technology to solve existing problems at companies
What will you be expected to do?
- Drive the vision for the product and technology roadmap in alignment to the company vision. Evangelize the vision so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going.
- Translate present and evolving customer’s needs to define a set of differentiated capabilities that provides 10x benefit to customers over status quo. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans.
- Measure success. Measure everything. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development. Develop ways to constantly define and monitor success.
- Collaborate across teams. Create alignment between related products, engineering teams and other key stakeholders. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently. Define expectations for engineering teams. Work closely with other stakeholders to promote your products both internally and externally, and to ensure a cohesive message.
What qualifications will enable you to be successful?
- 5-7+ years of product management experience, preferably some years in robotics or similar
- Demonstrated ability to work with large customers in defining a compelling product for broad-scale adoption
- Delivered on technology roadmaps spanning HW and SW
- Proficient technical abilities to hold your own in debates with engineers
- You have an intellectual curiosity that inspires others around you
