Under the direction of the Product Data Manager, the Automotive Product Fitment Data Specialist is responsible for creating, verifying, and maintaining vehicle fitment data for assigned aftermarket automotive parts and accessories. This role directly contributes to launches of new products across our platforms.
This position specializes in the models and fitments of the enthusiast vehicles Turn5 supports, translates that expertise into written form and enters it into our internal fitment tools.
This role is responsible for ingesting and enriching fitment data for new product launches, as well as managing the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the fitment database to ensure the data we are providing our customers is up to date and best in class.
Responsibilities:- Mapping and normalizing ACES fitment data received from vendors into our internal systems
- Review, clean, and/or correct 3rd party fitment data to ensure accuracy
- Leverage deep domain knowledge to resolve data conflicts
- Creation of fitment data for products where it is not provided
- Review incoming fitment updates for accuracy
- Analyze customer feedback to identify and correct data issues
- Perform other tasks as identified by the product data supervisor.
- General Car knowledge and deep knowledge of enthusiast vehicles is required
- Familiarity with or understanding of industry data standards, including ACES fitment data standard and PIES
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Education: Undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: Previous experience in an automotive related field is preferred
