Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Temporary Safety Data Clerk for full time maintenance position in Point Comfort, TX.
NO per diem or relocation available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in/near the area.
Functional Requirements
Performs basic clerical functions including filing, copying, binding reports, typing and checking documentation, correspondence, etc.; handles, sorts, distributes, delivers and picks up mail; proofreads records or forms; operates business machines such as calculators, computers, copiers, etc.; receives and coordinates storage of packages, office supply deliveries, etc.; answer, screen and direct telephone calls; compile and prepare various reports; coordinate and process general administrative work, performs additional assignments as required.
Qualification Standards
Employee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
Physical Involvement
Employee may be required to do the following: Reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and machines; lifting from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, etc.; standing, sitting, walking, bending; following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; repeating tasks; following oral and/or written directions; reading, writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards

Qualification Standards
- Minimum one (1) year of experience or equivalent combinations of experience and training
- Knowledge of business machines, computers and/or menu driven applications
- May be required to have knowledge of computer software such as Google Office
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
