Job Posting for Server, PUB 365 at Tuscany Suites and Casino
We are looking for a Part Time Server for the PUB 365 Restaurant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explaining all specials, promotions and food items on the menu.
- Answering questions about menu pricing, preparation, ingredients and plate presentation.
- Memorizing and promoting daily specials.
- Making food and beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate.
- Ensuring the guest needs are met, including keeping beverages full, providing additional condiments and/or food items, and checking back with guests during their meal.
- Balancing end-of-day paperwork, including cash, credit card and due backs with minimal errors, overages or shortages.
- Supporting other areas of the restaurant as necessary.
- Must be able to lift up-to 25 lbs.
- Maintaining a complete knowledge and understanding of menu items.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. Must have craft beer experience including 2 years’ experience as a restaurant server. Must have a valid NV Health, TAM, and Non-Gaming cards. Must be able to work in a environment with exposure to second hand smoke and high noise levels.
