Job Description:
The primary role of the Client Success Manager (CSM) is to develop new business opportunities while enhancing relationships with current clients to grow share of wallet. CSM’s are also required to grow and retain assigned existing accounts by ensuring they are aware of all current and new capabilities. They work with internal teammates across all departments to maintain client satisfaction.
Strategic planning is a key part of this position, as it is the CSM’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the custom fabrication market, the solutions/services TUSCO can provide, and a well-rounded knowledge of its competitors.
The main duties of the Client Success Manager can be summarized as follows:
Business Development:
  • Utilize traditional and social tools to Identify, source, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Set introductory meetings with potential clients and involve TUSCO’s resources as necessary to maximize first impression.
  • Work with team to develop quotes that properly address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Client Retention & Relationship Building:
  • As a Partner in Development, cultivate strong relationships with current clients, identifying additional partnership opportunities.
  • Ensure clients have full understanding of TUSCO’s capabilities and present new products/services.
  • Conduct routine account reviews to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Business Development Planning:
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, to represent TUSCO and provide feedback on market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, partner relationships, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Utilize knowledge of the market and competitors, build upon the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Project Management:
  • As the partnership liaison, coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet or exceed client expectations.
Administration and Product Knowledge:
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and ensure quotas are achieved.
  • Ensure that new client set-up requirements are fulfilled within a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s capabilities and resources.
  • Stay current with industry related trends through research and trade related reading.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering or a related field.
  • Sales Experience: Minimum 3 years selling in a B2B environment, specifically with fabricated metal products and completion of a formal sales training program.
  • Client Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships and discerning client needs.
  • Remote Work: Self-disciplined and able to meet goals/deadlines independently.
  • Prospecting: Leverage traditional and social outreach to Identify and connect with prospective clients.
  • Project Management: Experience in facilitating complex projects, managing timelines and ensuring attention to detail while functioning as a Liaison between clients and TUSCO.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Curiosity: A continuous learner, eager to better understand client processes, needs and desired outcomes.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions and internal team collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize consultative selling skills to align the clients' desired outcomes with TUSCO’s capabilities.
  • Negotiation: Proficient in negotiating quote opportunities that meet both client needs and company goals
