Job Overview
We are looking for a Sr Automotive Network Engineer who will be responsible for network integration of the Electrical Control Units (ECUs) as part of our Autonomous Systems. You will bring in your automotive network knowledge on CAN (J1939) and/or automotive Ethernet to help us design, integrate and improve our networks.
Opportunity Responsibilities and Mission
- Work with system engineers, electrical engineers, control engineers and OEMs to understand, create and maintain the network physical and data interfaces
- Participate in network architecture design, and document network/data-path in 2D drawing (e.g. Visio format)
- Support the wiring layouts and interconnects, respect to the networks or data-path (CAN/Ethernet)
- Lead Electrical Engineering root cause analysis activities at the system level, respect to automotive networks and data integrity
- Analysis and oversee CAN bus loads, network related issues and network management (network start-up and shutdown)
- Participate in system level FMEA
Experience and Skills required :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5 years of experience in automotive network (primarily on CAN bus)
Preferred:
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and experience to CAN(J1939 highly preferred)
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Vector CANalyzer or CANoe skills (CANdb , data log analysis, simulation setup, and basic CAPL script)
- Bonus point:
- CAN J1939
- AUTOSAR
- experienced with automotive Ethernet
