Tutoring Club of St Johns has an immediate opening for this exciting and rewarding NEW position! The Inside Sales Associate position provides the unique potential to enjoy the fulfilling benefits of helping students achieve their academic goals, as well as the exciting challenges of a growing company. This position is required to work from St Johns, FL. 

We are looking for a highly talented and competitive Inside Sales Associate (ISA) that thrives in a dynamic environment. As an ISA, you will work with customers to ensure a smooth sales process, answering phones, emails, and web leads; scheduling student testing; and setting sales appointments for our directors. You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism over the phone and during follow up with customers. You will develop incoming leads and seek opportunities to present additional services to customers based on their needs. The ISA will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must also be comfortable reaching out to past cold leads, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and signing them up for testing and/or in person meetings.

S/he has a strong work ethic and must be detail-minded, have good follow through skills, and be highly motivated and very enthusiastic. 

The ISA has an upbeat, genuine, and outgoing personality that immediately connects with guardians, students, and teammates. S/he has a working knowledge of all Tutoring Club solutions and has the marketing and sales acumen to listen to and develop leads and explain TC services addressing questions and concerns in order to move prospects to the next step. The ISA provides an extremely high level of customer service to prospective families via a variety of communication vehicles. Inside Sales Associate Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the initial sales process of potential new student enrollments.  Ensure that each prospect has an exceptional and successful experience. Focus on making terrific first impressions to all who call, email, or walk-in.

  • Set in-person appointments for prospective parents and students (assessments, practice tests, trials, sales meetings) and achieve monthly quotas.

  • Recognizing that our incoming leads have limited time to reach out for information, promptly reply to their phone calls, emails, web inquiries, or walk-in inquiries.

  • Listen effectively to prospective parents and discuss related TC solutions with them via telephone, quickly establishing rapport. Schedule student assessments, practice tests, or trials (if applicable), and/or in-person meetings with assistant director or director. Revenue opportunities are predicated on informative/engaging inquiries that lead to thorough and effective sales conferences with the assistant director or director.

  • When engaging in an inquiry call or walk-in, ensure that the testing fee or trial fee is collected ahead of the scheduled assessment or trial to secure the schedule on the calendar. 

  • Promptly send follow-up correspondence to incoming leads after initial contact.

  • Develop unclosed leads and referrals through continued follow up. 

  • Proactively identify and market other Tutoring Club services to prospective families based on their needs and goals.

  • Check voicemails daily, routing to appropriate teammate or returning phone calls pertaining to new inquiries.  Keep an open line of communication with the rest of the team regarding voicemails and requests from parents pertaining directly to their activities.

  • Answer phones remotely with a smile and speak to new inquiries or route call to appropriate teammate. New inquiries are your priority, regardless of the day they call in.

  • Stay up to date on Tutoring Club offerings, FAQs, and key points to effectively answer customer questions.

  • Relay any intriguing marketing opportunities for our services to the director to increase student inquiries, and subsequently, revenue-generating opportunities for the center.  Ensure the general financial wellbeing of the center by generating revenue opportunities. 

  • Source new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound follow-up calls and emails.

  • Create personal marketing plan.

  • Closely tracks the sales pipeline and results using current software platforms.

Inside Sales Associate Requirements:
  • HS diploma or GED.

  • Proven inside sales experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-service focused environment; experience in an educational setting a plus. Track record of over-achieving quotas and working with a sense of urgency.

  • Eelevated sales skills such as rapport building, active listening, assessing customer needs, recommending/ presenting, overcoming conversational objections, and closing.

  • Exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills, listening, and persuasive skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong empathy, tact, and diplomacy. Solid organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly. Knowledge of tutoring methods and Tutoring Club services. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience working with a CRM a plus.

  • Ability to establish rapport and move prospects to the next step. 

  • Flexibility with schedule to speak to incoming leads as they come in.

  • Dependable, professional, consistent, self-motivated, and self-starter.

Inside Sales Associate Preferred Schedule:
  • The schedule is flexible but should be consistent each week once a schedule is determined. Coordination with other teammates will be needed to ensure coverage for incoming leads. 

  • Business hours during the school year are typically 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday 8:00a.m to 12:30p.m. We also receive inquiry phone calls and web/email inquiries before and after hours and on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Salary : $36,000 - $45,000
