What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ballet Teacher position at Tutu School?
Tutu School is looking for ballet instructors to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged. We're looking for someone who has a car and is available to commute to at least two of our Orange County studios: Laguna Niguel, Corona del Mar, Huntington Beach, or Ladera Ranch. Flexibility in your schedule is ideal and weekend availability is required.
Tutu School is a ballet school for kids 18 months - 8 years old. We offer classes and birthday parties with the occasional special event. We believe every child should have the option to explore dance through classical music and ballet movement, giving them the opportunity from a young age to develop an appreciation for the arts.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a child's background in ballet development through a unique, fun & encouraging environment
- Provide a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Engage with parents and answer any questions they might have about their child and our dance program.
- Enroll students through our website and sell merchandise
Qualifications
- Dance training (specifically some ballet training)
- Ability to remain patient and positive and must have a passion to work with children
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Applicant must be enthusiastic and energetic
