What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor and Driver position at TWI?
Summary: Supports the SureShred program by driving a route and picking up the bins of paper from SureShred customers. In addition, this position will perform routine sanitizing of offices and restrooms, emptying trash receptacles and other deep cleaning tasks at the program site. May provide vocational training and support to program participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: (1) Fosters/Maintains good relationship business partners (2) Ability to lift shredding bags that exceed 50 pounds during routine customer pick-ups. (3) Daily cleaning tasks
· Provides a safe working and learning environment.
· May provide supervision to individuals, according to their ISP.
· Maintains a high standard of business rapport with Sure Shred customers.
· May safely transports individuals to and from bus or van as assigned by the supervisor and to and from work sites.
· Maintains work areas in a neat, orderly manner.
· Participates in in-service training.
· Follows organizational procedures and policies.
· Utilizes proper lifting techniques in carrying out job responsibilities.
· Responsible for general maintenance of buildings by checking facilities to ensure adequate cleaning supplies, restroom supplies, and general maintenance is performed at routine levels.
· Review maintenance records and document assigned tasks as required.
· Routine sanitizing and cleaning of restrooms/facility. Document as needed.
· Vacuum offices, hallways, and entryways on daily basis.
· Mop floors as needed.
· Clean kitchen daily including weekly cleaning of refrigerator.
· Prepares and submits all required paperwork in an organized and timely manner
· Assist in the creation and/or updating the department procedural manual.
· May be required to provide appropriate input for an individual’s ISP as needed.
· Maintains valid, current certification.
· Attends special team meetings
· Participates in in-service training
· Other Duties As Assigned

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
