What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Twice Daily?
Cashier Requirements:
· Previous experience working in a customer service or retail environment.
· Positive, helpful attitude towards customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately.
· Strong sense of humor and upbeat personality.
· Takes personal pride in the work that gets done.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (carrying cases of milk, etc.), bending, standing, reaching.
· Sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards.
· Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Cashier Responsibilities:
· Serves as a retail ambassador for the Twice Daily brand.
· Performs basic math functions to collect payments and make accurate change.
· Reports to work on time, ready and excited to work scheduled shift.
· Keeps the store clean and orderly.
· Maintains an accurate cash drawer and basic retail inventory count.
· Memorizes product locations throughout the retail store and guides customers while providing suggestions, as needed.
