Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Property Manager for our Hempfield Suburban Manufactured Home Community located at 109 Cardinal Drive Jeannette, PA 15644
The Assistant Property Managers will be responsible under the direction of the Property Manager for many aspects of the community. This position is responsible for interacting with current and prospective residents who have questions or concerns, being highly organized, having exceptional customer service skills, and being comfortable and passionate about the property management industry.
This position also includes, but is not limited to:
- Assisting in driving to expectations of 100% occupancy rate on a consistent basis.
- Helping with 100% collection of all rent and fees in a timely manner.
- Assisting in ensuring 100% compliance with company policies and procedures of a well-maintained community.
- Maintaining the Property Office to required standards and ensuring general office work is completed, to deadline, 100% of the time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain community relationships.
- Perform prompt follow-up and follow-through on prospects and applicants.
- Actively participate in marketing of the community to maximize occupancy.
- Follow up and report on rent delinquencies for specific residents as required.
- Adhere to all state, government, and local requirements to meet and exceed the expectations of all Fair Housing guidelines.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and a fast-paced environment.
- Assumes leadership role of the property in the absence of the Property Manager.
- Works with integrity and honesty.
- Works calmly under pressure and can follow through on commitments.
- Strong work ethic - moves quickly, but with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
- Completed High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Computer proficiency, including the internet and experience using Yardi, preferred
