Duties of the production operator :
- Perform assembly of parts and assemblies to complete finished products according to job traveler operations and engineering specifications
- Set up necessary tools and equipment for assembly processes
- Review finished assemblies, parts, and products to ensure accuracy and compliance with production requirements
- Prepare finished products for shipping by packaging, crating, palletizing, and loading as required
- Report production issues and assist in resolutions as required
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Operations
Requirements of the production operator :
- Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production environment preferred
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and plan work to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), JobBoss experience preferred
