What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Accountant position at Twin Eagle?
Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC is looking for skilled Cash Accountant to join our team. This position will assist with the daily cash management for the Company. The qualified candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills as they will work both with financial data and other team members.
Responsibilities and Duties:
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all daily, weekly, and monthly processes related to cash management and reporting. Day-to-day activities can include but are not limited to:
- Reconciling bank activity daily and managing cashflow
- Identifying and uploading all cash transactions into the Company’s accounting system (GP)
- Reviewing AR/AP accounts on a regular basis and allocating funds appropriately
- Verifying vendor account information and creating vendor accounts in the bank
- Reviewing and processing all outgoing payments for the Company using provided invoice support
- Depositing and recording checks received by the Company
- Managing Excel spreadsheets related to cash activity
- Working closely with Accounts Payable, the Settlements Team, and the Treasury Department to ensure accurate cash forecasting and account funding
- Providing payment and analytical support to different departments as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- A college degree or 2-5 years of previous experience working in an office or remote office setting
- Ability to effectively manage priorities while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines with accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet maintenance, intermediate formulas, pivots, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, especially in dealing with numbers
- Ability to support change and drive continuous improvement
