Job Summary: This person is responsible
for moving trailers in and out of dock doors, yard and other areas as required.
The role supports the Logistics Team as a warehouse forklift operator loading
and unloading trucks as needed.
Job Duties:

Practice safe behavior at all times,
utilizing safe practices and appropriate PPE. -
Move trailers to and from loading docks
at both buildings and around two storage yards as necessary. - Communicate effectively via 2-way radio.

Daily fax inventories and BOL’s to
Corporate Account Dept. - Organize trailers in storage yards.

Label trailers to facilitate
identification and tracking. - Track trailer locations, on site.

Inspect trailers and yard tractor for
necessary repairs. -
Manage trailer and yard tractor repair
work orders. -
Perform basic maintenance and repairs to
trailers and yard tractor. -
Assist with loading and unloading of
trailers as called upon. - Other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Able to work overtime as needed.

Work under pressure to meet production
deadlines. -
Must be able to work in fast pace yard
and warehouse environment. -
Work in hot and cold environments
(exposed to changing weather conditions). -
Mechanical ability to diagnosis
truck/trailer problems. - CDL helpful
