Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play, learn, and grow.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational exercises.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition.
- Assist with basic household tasks related to childcare, such as laundry, tidying up play areas, and washing dishes.
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, nap times, and any specific needs or preferences.
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns in a calm and appropriate manner.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, activities, and any notable events.
Skills:
- Previous experience in babysitting or caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
- Ability to provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Proficiency in basic childcare tasks such as diaper changing, feeding, and soothing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and establish a trusting relationship.
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to handle unexpected situations or changes in routine.
- Ability to cook simple meals for children following dietary guidelines or preferences.
- Willingness to engage in educational activities with children to support their learning and development.
