About the Role
We are looking for an experienced German speaking lawyer to lead legal for our expanding and evolving operations in EMEA & Emerging Markets with a special focus on the Germany, Austria and Swiss ("DACH") regions. Reporting to the Legal Director for EMEA & APAC you will be a member of the International Legal Team and advise the business on the legal, regulatory and commercial aspects of diverse projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join Twitch's close-knit legal team, build relationships with Amazon legal teams and have fun tackling the complex issues faced by our business, clients and communities.

The role can work from our Berlin office and some international travel will be required.
You Will:
- Advise the business on legal, regulatory, data and commercial issues relating to the strategic development of the EMEA & Emerging Markets business and, in particular, in relation to the DACH regions.
- In relation to regulatory changes, triangulate with Public and Community Policy and Engineering teams to provide legal and compliance advice.
- Assist the DACH, Emerging Markets and Central European teams, including the Content and Ad Sales teams, with local advice and local language support.
- Lead legal support for the International team for Emerging Markets and RFI workstreams.
- Assist in driving projects forward across the wider International Legal Team and with the broader Amazon Group and other Twitch Legal teams as needed.
You Have:
- University Degree and legal qualifications.
- 7 years post qualification experience (PQE).
- A mix of law firm and in-house experience, although we will consider private practice lawyers who have demonstrable client exposure (eg through secondments).
- Fluent German language skills (drafting and negotiating).
- Bonus: Media, technology, video-game or advertising industry background.
