About Our Apprenticeship Program

Our Apprenticeship Program is designed to help you advance your painting skills and become a successful Painter in just one year. You'll receive 16 hours of training at our shop and work often with a mentor, taking part in on the job training, for the first 90 days.  Our program features a Learning Pathways designed to help you acquire the skills you need to succeed.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow instructions, take direction, and work in a team environment
• Move and use ladders and power equipment (extension ladders, sanders, sprayers, pressure washers, etc.)
• Exhibit team player qualities, including the ability to follow directions, good work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance
• Assist with job site set-up and clean-up; keep site clean and orderly throughout the duration of the job
• Perform all preparation procedures (sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.)
• Perform all painting functions in a competent, timely manner with minimal supervision (paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.)
• Meet required time frames and production scopes
• Interact with customers in a courteous, professional manner (i.e. answering questions and concerns on the job site)
• Learn the differences between painting products and their proper applications

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Driver’s License 
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 Year experience in Residential or Commercial Interior and/or exterior painting
