WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand.
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; interview, hire and train new employees (or oversees these processes).
- Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
- Coordinate employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of movers and drivers.
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
- Oversee all workers compensation and unemployment claims.
- Coordinate and direct the fleet maintenance and equipment inventory programs.
- Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution process.
- Responsible for being the “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours.
- Participates in regular training and development programs offered through Stick men university® to further the knowledge of the system.
- Actively participate in community, industry or other relevant associations.
- All other duties as assigned.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, or related field preferred
- Management, business, or other relevant experience is required
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
- Must be willing to work Saturday’s and after hours occasionally
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people
- Ability to assess the performance of self, employees and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action
- Strong decision-making ability
- Basic truck/vehicle knowledge
- Experience in the fields of general labor, management, non-CDL transportation, landscaping, construction, project management, logistics, production, manufacturing, assembly, factory or warehouse helpful
