Product & Pricing Analyst

Job Summary The Product and Pricing Analyst will be responsible for making updates to prices, producing price change sheets and EFLs, and coordinating changes with sales partners as well as supporting a variety of ad-hoc analyses. The analyses will support all aspects of the business including Marketing and Operations. The ideal candidate has a high level of attention to detail, is intellectually curious, and has excellent time management skills. The analyst should be very comfortable in Excel and ideally will have experience in Base SAS or SAS Enterprise Guide. The successful candidate must be flexible to respond to ad-hoc requests and have excellent teamwork skills. Job Description Key Accountabilities: Create price change sheets for ~50 sales partners; update Power to Choose products and prices; audit post-launch prices to ensure successful and accurate updates on partner sites; execute QC code to ensure prices built in the billing system match the EFLs Use semi-automated tools to create Electricity Fact Labels for new products or price changes Execute monthly queries for each brand to calculate updated variable rate history to be published on REP.com websites Execute detailed weekly queries to identify new switch hold customers that need to be moved to special switch hold month-to-month products; execute other queries to identify customers coming off of switch holds who need to be moved back to their pre-switch-hold product Create weekly lists of customers for outbound calling campaigns and distribute to the vendor Update the Tableau report of renewals performance on a weekly basis; analyze results and write and distribute a summary of observations Support Incident Management with customer lists meeting specific criteria, run calculations on customer rate plans, and perform other ad-hoc analyses and queries as requested Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements 2-4 years of related work experience 1-2 years experience working with data sets, large data tables, and report generation Experienced gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills Demonstrated proficiency in at least two of the following is required: A) Intermediate Excel B) Experience using Base SAS or SAS EG C) Experience writing queries in SQL D) Experience with data visualization/reporting/dashboards in Tableau, Alteryx, etc. High level attention to detail Key Metrics Timeliness and accuracy of sales partner price sheets Timeliness and accuracy of EFL updates Timeliness and accuracy of switch hold reporting Timeliness and accuracy of ad hoc requests Availability to other functional areas to help with immediate needs Job Family Marketing Company TXU Retail Services Company Locations Irving, Texas Texas We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
